1. Purpose of Training
This program is intended to support, not replace, employer-based training requirements.
2. Employer Responsibilities
Employers are responsible for applying the principles and knowledge from this training within their specific workplace environments. This includes providing job-specific instruction, site orientation, and workplace familiarization as required.
3. Use of Training Materials
Saga may provide access to publicly available materials developed and copyrighted by Alberta Health Services, Emergency Health Services. These materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used for educational purposes only.
4. No Warranty
While Saga makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete, all content is provided on an “as is” basis. Saga makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the information.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saga shall not be liable for any loss, claim, damage, or expense arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or reliance upon, the information or training provided.
6. Participant and Agency Responsibilities
Participating Medical First Response (MFR) agencies are solely responsible for:
Ensuring their responders comply with all applicable protocols, policies, and medical direction
Providing appropriate oversight, supervision, and continuing education
Conducting patient care audits to verify compliance and support patient safety
7. Acceptance of Terms
By participating in the Saga MFR Program, participants and affiliated organizations acknowledge and accept the terms outlined above.
