The goal of the Saga MFR Program is to ensure that trainees who are certified in Saga’s Intermediate First Aid and wish to participate in Alberta’s Medical First Response (MFR) Program have a clear understanding of the applicable MFR legislation, policies, procedures, and medical protocols.

To support this objective, Saga facilitates access to publicly available materials developed and copyrighted by Alberta Health Services, Emergency Health Services, which can be accessed online at AlbertaMFR.ca.

Saga’s MFR Program provides structured training designed to help trainees effectively interpret and apply Alberta Health Services, Emergency Health Services MFR legislation, policies, procedures, and medical protocols.
